What to see in Lombok

1. Gili Trawangan (plage & snorkeling)
   On this small island with no motorised traffic, you get around on foot, by bike or by horse cart, and the pace slows the moment you step off the boat.
2. Gili Air
   The closest of the three Gilis to Lombok, with no cars or motorbikes and a slow pace, and a village where local life carries on between the cafés and bungalows.
3. Gili Meno (statues sous-marines)
   Off Gili Meno, the quietest of the three Gilis, a circle of life-size human figures rests on the seabed.
4. Mont Rinjani (trek)
   Rinjani is Lombok's great volcano, and climbing it feels like a real expedition rather than a simple hike.
5. Plage de Kuta Lombok
   A wide bay of pale sand on the south coast of Lombok, ringed by dry hills, where life still runs at the pace of a fishing and surfing village.
6. Cascades de Sendang Gile
   Sendang Gile is a tiered waterfall set in the forest at the foot of Mount Rinjani, close to the village of Senaru.
7. Selong Belanak
   A wide, crescent-shaped bay framed by green hills and soft pale sand, where southern Lombok feels at its most relaxed.
8. Pearl Beach Lounge (Gili T)
   Pearl Beach Lounge is a table with your feet in the sand, under a large bamboo pavilion, with the sea in front of you and Lombok's Mount Rinjani behind it.
