What to see in Victoria Falls

1. Chutes Victoria (Mosi-oa-Tunya)
   The Zambezi plunges here into a long fault in the basalt plateau and escapes through a narrow gorge, so the falls can be seen almost head-on from about a hundred metres away.
2. Devil's Pool (Livingstone Island)
   This is a natural pool carved into the rock right at the edge of the falls.
3. Pont de Victoria Falls (saut à l'élastique)
   The bridge spans the Zambezi gorge just downstream of the falls, high above a deep canyon and a river you can only see far below.
4. Croisière au coucher du soleil sur le Zambèze
   Cruising the Zambezi at the end of the day, upstream of the falls, gives you a calm stretch of wide river in golden light.
5. Parc Mosi-oa-Tunya (rhinos)
   The park protects the land around Victoria Falls, whose local name means "the smoke that thunders".
6. Rafting sur le Zambèze
   The rafting runs through the gorges below the falls, where the Zambezi tumbles through a series of powerful rapids between dark basalt walls.
7. Musée de Livingstone
   This is one of Zambia's oldest museums, housed in the town that was once the capital of Northern Rhodesia.
8. Marché de Mukuni
   The market sits in Mukuni village, home to the Tonga community and under the authority of Chief Mukuni.
