What to see in Tel Aviv

  1. Vieux Jaffa
Jaffa is one of the oldest port cities still inhabited in the world, and its stone old town, set on a headland above the sea, feels very different from the modern city next door.
  2. Plage de Gordon
Gordon Beach is an urban stretch of Mediterranean coast in northern Tel Aviv.
  3. Marché du Carmel
Carmel Market is one of the few places in Tel Aviv where neighbourhood life is on full display: vendors call out to passers-by, fruit and spice stalls line the covered lanes, and the rhythm feels like a city doing its everyday shopping the way it has for decades.
  4. Rothschild Boulevard (Bauhaus)
Rothschild Boulevard lines some of the finest buildings of the White City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, erected in the 1930s in the Bauhaus and International Style.
  5. Musée d'art de Tel Aviv
This is Tel Aviv's main art museum, where you move from European art of the 19th and 20th centuries to modern and contemporary Israeli creation.
  6. Marché aux puces de Jaffa
Set in old Jaffa, this flea market brings together antiques, mismatched crockery, vintage clothing and bric-a-brac.
  7. Parc Hayarkon
Hayarkon Park stretches along the Yarkon river and gives Tel Aviv a green space where you can walk, cycle and step away from the bustle of the city centre.
  8. Neve Tzedek
Neve Tzedek was the first Jewish neighborhood built outside the old city of Jaffa, founded in 1883 by families led in part by Shimon Rokach and Aharon Chelouche.
