1. Cathédrale Saint-Paul
   Set in the Plateau, Abidjan's business district, this cathedral offers a place of calm amid the city's bustle.
2. Musée des Civilisations de Côte d'Ivoire
   The museum brings together, in the heart of the Plateau district, the main artistic traditions of Côte d'Ivoire through masks, statues and objects used in daily life or in ritual.
3. Marché de Treichville
   Treichville's market is one of the best places in Abidjan to see everyday life up close.
4. Plateau (skyline) & lagune Ébrié
   Le Plateau is Abidjan's business and administrative district, set on a peninsula between the Ébrié lagoon and the rest of the city.
5. Grand-Bassam (ville historique)
   The town keeps a dense ensemble of late nineteenth and early twentieth century colonial architecture, with verandah houses, faded facades and quiet lanes that still carry the memory of the former capital.
6. Assinie (plage, excursion)
   Assinie is a long strip of sand between the Atlantic Ocean and the Aby lagoon, about a hundred kilometres east of Abidjan.
7. Parc national du Banco
   In the middle of a city of several million people, Banco is a dense, primary tropical forest, one of the very few in the world to lie so close to the heart of a metropolis.
